At SVC we take anesthesia very seriously. We perform preanesthetic bloodwork on all patients undergoing general anesthesia to ensure they do not have organ compromise, or need a change of anesthetic regimen. Each individual patient will receive their own anesthesia plan catered to their specific needs. All patients undergoing general anesthesia will have an IV catheter and IV fluids administered based on their specific requirements. This aids in maintaining blood pressure and blood flow to the brain, kidneys and other vital tissues.
